I retired from being an attorney after nearly thirty [30] years experience in complex litigation including: civil rights, business litigation, voting rights, products liability, and criminal defense up to and including death penalty cases.
I live in Changsha, Hunan, PRC, near Hanguang Lu and Xierhuan.
My business called English Language Services. It provides proofing, editing, and rewriting primarily for Chinese First Language students, faculty and scholars who are trying to get papers published in English. I am competent to edit papers in all the sciences except perhaps some areas of higher mathematics and physics.
I am a board member and legal advisor to WNIC, What’s New in Changsha, the largest association of foreigners living and working in Changsha.
I provide: application preparation assistance for those wishing to study outside of China; interview preparation for school admission and Consular and Embassy interviews connected with visa applications. I provide research services in the liberal arts, economics, sciences, medicine, and law. I also provide high school, college, and post graduate test preparation and tutoring.
